The Accredited Buyer’s Representative (ABR®) Designation Course will give you the professional tools and knowledge to be an advocate and guide for your buyer-clients. Recently updated with new information and research relevant to today’s market, the ABR® Designation Course explores every aspect of residential real estate transactions from a buyer’s perspective. Learn how to attract more buyer-clients and elevate your services to ensure you are meeting all your fiduciary responsibilities when representing buyers. Students will be provided with a digital manual for the class. This course is the main requirement for the Accredited Buyer’s Representative (ABR®) Designation. Successful completion of this course also fulfills the elective-course requirement to earn the Seller Representative Specialist (SRS) Designation. Please note there are annual dues that must be paid to earn and maintain this designation. She also sold Real Estate in the 1980s in Fairfield CT. She holds a BS from Scared Heart University and a Master of Science from the Milano school of International Affairs, Management and Urban Policy at The New School. She concentrated in Organizational Development.Joy spent over 25 years in the Financial Services industry. She was a Team Lead and Manager at Citibank where her team developed and delivered mortgage training to a 100 branch region. She also ran an origination department in a mid-town Manhattan Branch. Joy and her team specialized in lending to Co-op buyers. Joy then became a Branch Manager and Vice President of Citytrust Bank in Connecticut. Joy joined Republic National Bank as a trainerand helped develop training for the Wholesale Mortgage team primarily serving New England, Florida, and the California markets. In this role she developedtraining in how to close in both escrow and attorney states.Joy is excited to be certified to deliver this and other programs. VAR® will happily provide a refund for cancellation or transfer requests received up to 7 days prior to a course offering. Because VAR® reserved a seat in anticipation of your attendance any cancellations or transfers after 7 days will incur an administrative fee in the amount of $25.00. No refund will be given to those who cancel within 2 days of the course offering. No shows, i.e. individuals who did not sign in or out, who arrived late or left early or who did not show up at all – for any reason – are ineligible for any refund or transfer.
