Anna Gallagher
Anna Gallagher is an Environmental Health Engineer in the Vermont Department of Health’s Private Drinking Water Program. She focuses on providing resources to private well and spring users around the state to ensure that their water is safe to drink. She additionally works on programs to reduce environmental health impacts from severe storms and flooding in Vermont. Anna has experience addressing water quality issues in research, consulting, government, and nonprofit roles. She holds a BA in chemistry from Carleton College and an MS in Environmental Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley.



Michelle Thompson
Michelle Thompson is the Public Health Industrial Hygienist at the Vermont Department of Health. She has been the program manager for the Radon Program and the Envision Program (school environmental health) for almost 6 years. Michelle is a certified radon measurement professional through the National Radon Proficiency Program and is pursuing a radon mitigation professional certification. Michelle has a BS in Environmental Engineering from Clarkson University and an MPH in Occupational and Environmental Health from Tulane University.
