DescriptionLocationInstructors This class is intended to inform real estate licensees about Champlain Housing Trust's (CHT) Shared Equity program and how it operates within a residential real estate transaction. Participants will gain a clear understanding of the program's purpose and scale, how it maintains permanent affordability, and how shared equity purchases and resales differ from traditional fee-simple sales. The course explains the key program requirements, buyer eligibility standards, pricing and subsidy concepts, financing parameters, lender expectations, and the legal documents (Ground Leases and Housing Subsidy Covenants).
